All of the bright red upholstery and cushioning is new, as is the carpeting, custom stainless steel counter and sink, and the quilted wall padding ( which was often only installed in military birds when a VIP was onboard, naked walls being easier for mechanics to maintain ).

The instruments, fittings, and seating were all cleaned, painted and reinstalled, while anything hazardous in the HH-3 was removed, rounded over if sharp, and padded and covered if necessary
